“...winners don’t just learn the fundamentals, they master them. You have to monitor your fundamentals constantly because the only thing that changes will be your attention to them”.
Michael Jordan
1. Managing your time. That is the greatest way to put more life into your life and the only way to create the greatest life - for a life with time used poorly is not a good life. All masters of life have time management down to where their lives are full of value.
2. Managing your emotions and thus yourself. "A life unexamined is not worth living." The person who examines and recalibrates beliefs to the point that they align with what is true AND effective transforms the quality of his life and frees up his/her emotional blocks. Don't stop at being an amateur psychologist!
I'd recommend that you completely implement all of the strategies and systems in my (virtually free) Kindle book "Life Value Productivity". One of the major prerequisites for personal growth and strength is to free up the time (and devote it) for actually learning enough to be a great self manager. Of course, as in most areas, it might be best to first implement the biggest life improves even before one has perfected his knowledge.
THEN, after you've freed up sufficient time, you would implement The Emotion Management Program, which will of course take a lot of learning and implementation time, with every bit yielding many rewards as we improve and handle the various parts of emotion management and begin to create more of the emotions and behaviors that we want in our lives.
Yes, these programs take time but they are the core of life - and if you develop that core very well then the world is your oyster!
The point is that you should not stop before mastery of these two AND you should do it as soon as possible, for it is the foundation for your whole life and for making life a true masterpiece of happiness and effectiveness!!!!
