Brilliant! (Though a simple idea.)
There is an art, and a huge value, to creating a “second brain” (one that is outside your head, but “re-minds” you what is important and best to do. These are a great combination of wisdom, with great commentary that he attached. I’ll be cutting and pasting to make my own version...
(Oh, and he is a very sharp fellow to follow!)
These 20 pictures are mor valuable than 100 books.

Needed inspiration, songs to link into
Part of our feeling good, especially in these uncertain times, can come from our listening to inspiring songs/music. This can be a short term inspiration, but if one continues to do this often, there is a rewiring effect in the brain, not only of content but also changing the wiring in the happiness center in the left brain, similar to what happens with meditators.
Here's a bit of what I've compiled, but, if you like this idea, you may wish to devise your own playlists. (If you do, please send me a link to it. Contact.)

Touching, moving, and inspiring...the movie...the book..
Touching at a core level - Fred Rogers - A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood
It's a movie, so touching and gulping-back-tears...so well done...
I hope you get to see it.
[It is interesting that the wisdom he gave to children is essentially the wisdom we are trying to capture in our lives as adults... it would seem that it is time for us to learn that wisdom, finally...]
Here's his book, full of wisdom we adults could all use: You Are Special...

A touching, moving, inspiring self memoir - incredible
I was tremendously inspired, with waves of being intensely moved and very deeply touched, as I read this book.
While it contained the story, so far, of Kyle Carpenter, the youngest living recipient of the Medal Of Honor, it had great wisdom, illustrated in his life after the tragedy from his incredible sacrifice. It wasn’t about the heroism, though. It was about life after the injury and all the operations, as he created it and adjusted - and chose to live a life truly worth living.
You Are Worth It, Building A Life Worth Fighting For, Kyle Carpenter.

Should I read a book about the best advice I ever heard?
It sounds so Mickey Mouse and trite. But, for the mind, it elevates it and gives it raw material for
“happy thinking”. Just read a story or two a day, right before bed...
And see the noticeable shift in your outlook on life, significantly to the positive...and leading to the powerful.
You might try a “dose of chicken soup”, which people in America used to give when people weren’t feeling well.
Seriously, even sophisticated people should do it.
You could start with Chicken Soup For The Soul: The Best Advice I Ever Heard - 101 Stories Of Epiphanies And Wise Words.
Read it and then add more “best advice” books containing stories and/or articles by people who have experienced the good from wisdom and/or advice.

Read this inspiring story on the super contributing, super hero Murray Family!
From my experience at Mindvalley University:
We are so privileged to have super heroes among us, whom we can learn from - and I hope you all will take the time to fully experience the inspiring stories and insights that are contained in the journey of the Murray Family.
Yes, Kaitlin and Cassidy greatly inspired all of us with their presentation on Thursday.
But the story is even much bigger than that.
I felt inspired to write a page on superheroes and then link into the super-hero story of the Murrays. You’ll want to especially read “Mama Gina”’s story.
And I loved the two sites that they’ve created and I urge you to spend some time delving deeply into this, again not just for the inspiration but for the insights and what you can learn from this. (I suggest that you savor it all.)
Link to it from this page (and then link into the various parts that will transport you to a higher level of being): My Heroes And SuperHeroes - Inspiring And Life Changing.

Finding Happiness - The Movie
On Amazon Prime, I watched a beautiful movie on the Ananda Village, a documentary told in a story form, with a journalist learning about that life, as compared to living in New York City.
It was deeply touching, to me.
The vision for mankind.
How people can live.
How we can teach our children how to really live in true happiness.

Being "moved and touched" is a unique human gift - read this story
(Click on the title of the post to read the entire post.)
I cannot imagine how any human being would not be moved, touched, and even inspired by this article on Shawn Stephenson's mother... and how she kept him impossibly alive... and the miracle of life he then created... Read this article...and then read the other one and see if you might want to live your life at a much higher level...
We often fail to appreciate the incredible gifts we are "given" as being human. We get caught up in being short of expectations, not being enough, not having enough (all stories!), etc. But "being human" is simply wondrous if we look with, as if a child, at the world with a sense of awe and wonder.

Furthermore:
Ironically
the following quote applies to far more people than it should: "If you want to
succeed, you can’t wait for the world to give you attention the way a 'cripple
waits for food stamps to arrive in the mail." It seems that some of us 'cripple' ourselves... when we all have the capability to create an excellent life.
I loved
this comment on his article: "What an inspiration. I am printing out
and posting this next to my computer. Next time I start blowing up balloons for
a pity party, your words will remind me of the fallacy of CAN’T."
Read this one, too:
Consider
reading this to get "grounded" in what you CAN do, regardless: 7 Life Lessons from
a Guy Who Can’t Move Anything but His Face.

A reminder of the humanity of it all...
(Click on the title of the post to see the entire post.)
Gimme Shelter - A true story, a little gem of a movie. Trapped, escaping, no where to go, but...
Beautiful, touching, at times repelling, the ugliness of humanity mixed with the deep goodness, the messiness, the human drama that is life, in feelings, vulnerabilities, the love, the connection, the passions - all so very moving. And it all melds into this mess that has underneath it the beauty of life.
Watch it in its twists and turns, and in the truth of it. It'll remind you of the wonder of life.

How can you really make a meaningful impact on others and even the world?
[If you are receiving this by email, remember to click on the title to go to the whole piece on the blog.]
Watch the video to see how to make the greatest impact (5 minutes). Very touching.
______________
How can you really make a meaningful impact on others and even the world?
In arranging meetings, doing community activities, helping people?
Perhaps, a little, but the real meaning and impact is, in my opinion, unquestionably in directly impacting and changing another's life.
To be able to do that, one must work on learning and doing that which will inspire others through seeing you as a role model, plus you must actively engage in educating others on what to do to improve their lives such that they are living not just an ordinary life, but an extraordinary life of great happiness and fulfillment..
Watch this video: A Teacher Tells His Class About His Hero...And...
Then make your decision about whether you want to do what is necessary to be able to have that kind of impact.
Doing this is ALWAYS worth your while, as your entire life will be transformed to a much greater level of being, as it will cause you to lead a much higher level of happiness and fulfillment.
Nothing...absolutely nothing...matches this in true impact on your life AND on the lives of others. (Forget everything else, as all the multitude of activities you can do to benefit others will not even add up to a small fraction of what you can do if you directly impact others' lives!!!!!)
[The path to doing this is this very same path: The Only Path To The Greatest Life. Do this and life will be your oyster!]

DAILY INSPIRING PHILOSOPHY, IN DEPTH
Daily grounding and inspiration is an essential part of centering in your personal power for living your day.
I believe the videos (and the materials) that Brian Johnson has put together are an excellent tool for re-minding and renewing one's life insights and philosophies.
He summarizes one or two great ideas from each of the top 100 books of all time (in his view - and he's done an excellent job). He spends ten minutes discussing each book in a free video on his site.
My page about his material (About The Philosophers Notes) contains a link to the videos and also suggests an order for the books.
This is a major, major resource for (getting and) keeping your life on track. I recommend daily or at least regular use of this resource - and a reading of his book The Philosophers Notes, soon.
This is a top recommendation. Try it. I'm confident you'll like it.
