What the pupil must learn, if he learns anything at all, is that the world will do most of the work for you, provided you cooperate with it by identifying how it really works and aligning with those realities. If we do not let the world teach us, it teaches us a lesson.” — Joseph Tussman
I encourage those who are students of life to "learn how things work" and then "learn how to work them" if one is to have a good life. It seems obvious to me that this is a requirement that must be done on the path to creating a great life. You absolutely MUST do this!
But some prefer to skip that part about how the body and brain work, so they end up thinking of those as a kind of black box, whose emotions come from a mysterious place and are to be taken seriously, whereas the opposite is most often true. They continue to be the victim of the monkey mind, letting the monkeys rule their world, full of unnecessary fears and anxieties that use up their emotional energy when it could be spent so much better elsewhere, such as on creating enduring, ongoing unconditional happiness and satisfaction in life.
I recommend that you learn the simplicity and the simplistic thinking of the simple primitive emotive brain, so that you can then learn how to manage the brain, your beliefs (at least the very untrue ones), and ultimately your emotions...and then your very life, as you can create a powerful life without fears and anxieties. I want you to know that it is not a good assumption (not a good belief) to think that fears and anxieties are just given as a part of life - for they are not a given. If you understand them, you can see through them and live a life that is "in reality", a life of power but yet full of ease and grace as you create it exactly as you want it.
Please, please, "do your homework" and become a master of your mind - you'll love the results and you'll be living without fear, in total freedom, living the life that is beyond what you could have dreamed.
Read at least the reality series (which sets up the facts and thinking that support the basis for how the mind and life work). It includes the summary and deeper piece on how the mind works.
