In Sean Stephenson's youtube video When Life Works, he notes what he was doing when his life worked the best. He then assured that he followed those as "rules for life".
You should make your list, but here's his list:
When my life works:
Workout 3 days a week
Clean shaven
Keep space clean (including car) , no clutter
Shower regularly
Well-hydrated
Reading a good book - digging into it
Getting up early (getting a jump on the day)
8 hours of sleep
Others might add: meditate, stop working past 6 pm, honor my golden hours, follow a set schedule...
SHOULD I SPEND THE TIME BOTHERING TO DO THIS?
Well, I ask "do you have something more valuable to do than this?" If you do this list and put it in your Reminders Notebook (and tickle it to finish implementing it so that you are assured of "completion") and then completely implement it into your life, it will produce value over and over and over - for a magnificent return on the little amount of time you spent on working on it!!!!!!!
(Hopefully, you will do the basic preparation life design exercise of determining The Highest Value Activities In Life.)
