Massively clearing up your time so that you can do what matters to you...

(Click on the title of the post to see the entire post.)

Since we don't have time to do everything (duh!), we must get a lot of things off of "our plate" of "concerns" and "to dos" so that we can do what matters most. (You likely have seen this idea many times, but probably passed it by with no action or with the thought that you'd handle it when you "have the time" - but you might notice now how "later" never seems to come...)

So, right now (this week) as a priority at least identify what to take off of your plate:

The irrelevant or low value (the optional ones) [You can add back some if you wish, but for now, list them all, as potentially time saving if you need the time for other mid or high value activities.]

This includes people pleasing activities that may not actually have
much impact, as they tend to  be done automatically with no
         thinking.
Also, dawdling around activities or anything you really do take
much more time to do than is necessary.

Anything that recurs as a problem.  [These take time to deal with each time they come up.  Yes, it takes time to clear them up, but the payoff is incredibly well-worth it, yielding time and emotional benefits that are huge because they are repeated over time!!!]

Anything that is left incomplete, to come up again later, requiring a new start up effort.

Anything that takes your attention, energy, and emotional reserves away over and over.

Beliefs that are behind your feeling fear or anxiety over and over.

Beliefs that cause you to spend too much time perfecting
something in order to avoid blame by self or others

Beliefs that cause you to avoid things that are beneficial.

     Emotional depleters, time users

TV, especially news, watching politics or problems in
                the World
TV, watching worthless stuff, using it as a "relaxer" or
                "comfort" routine
Computer games or any absorbing games that don't
give social benefits that are worth the time.

WHAT TO DO

Just list ALL of these (80-90% of them) quickly in less than 20-30 minutes.

Then decide which to drop and tickle a time to deal with them (or put them on a prioritized list in the order in which you have decided to do them

Do not lose this list, as it is your master list.  Keep it in a file, notebook, or in Google Docs (using the "table of contents" linking feature), but there must be a tickle to have you return to the list to work on the next item.

Essentially, there must be nothing left that is undecided as to when to commence on on a key item and when to commence on a key prioritized list of "next items to do."

THIS IS A CORE, MAJOR MUST IN LIFE

Don't skip doing this, please!!!!

Since you are not likely to jump on this right this instant, you would put it in your tickles to do as "list of what to eliminate from my time" (or something like that, whatever indicates the idea to you).

To look into this further (or to copy some of the ideas) use this page AND the links it has that could be of value to you:

One of the most damaging things we do is to leave in place useless, damaging fears and beliefs.  They are unnecessary and very costly - and leaving them in place should never be tolerated!!!!  Do a listing of these, prioritizing them as you would any such list, and tickle up when to start on the list or any specific items selected from the list.   Follow Fear Management Program.

These are essential to do in life and as soon as possible on the major (say, top five or so) bad beliefs and costful fears!!!!
