Rest - Enough And The Right Way
We have a flawed view of what rest is (hint: it is not binge watching Netflix or drinking wine).
While there is physical rest, there is also "mind rest", where we set it up so that our mind is relaxed but creative, where it does the necessary resolving of "problems".
If we work intelligently, it is argued that "a four hour work day is optimal for producing", if we "learn what moves the needle and focus our work efforts on that".
Consider reading this Farnam Street blog about this and the book it is based on: Get More Done By Working Less.
Optimizing your work day AND getting the most out of the rest of life is a vital skill that deserves your attention AND, indeed, true mastery, if you are to live your greatest life!
[Of course, this is the objective of my book Life Value Productivity...]
