Being "in the questions of life" vs. living in the clear answers...

(If you received this via email, click on the title of the post to see the entire post)

Many think that philosophy is an egghead constant questioning about the pieces of life.

But, no, that is not the case.

Yes, questioning things first is an essential to not living based on false beliefs.  (See The Unexamined Life Is Not Worth Living - Why?).

But the point of it all is to find and lock in the tested and thought-through answers.

A person who does not tie down the answers will constantly put some stress on the lower parts of the brain, as the lower brains will constantly be trying to close the gap, in order to be "safe" and more functional in the world.   The latter is an installed function of the lower brains.  However, the lower brains are not sufficiently intelligent enough nor capable of high enough reasoning to come up with answers to anything at all complex - only the higher brain and applied thought will come up with the answers. (See How The Brain Works - The Short Version.)

A truly powerful person has the answers that align with truth (rather than the often false certainty of rigid thinkers) and "what works" in life.  Again, he/she is not stuck in living in the major questions of life.

The answer to "what is the meaning and purpose of life" is clear (and is not provided at birth...).  The answer is actually the same as what the Dalai Lama asserts.

The answers to the "realities" in life are also clear and not some ambiguous constant question.  (If you're constantly in the question, it is not only stressful but it is quite useless, because you are not pushing far enough to get the answers...duh!). See What Is Reality - Know It Or Suffer In Irreality.

I recommend, obviously, that you learn the key answers to life as soon as possible in life, starting right now as your top priority of what to do (after you've done the Musts in life) and that you figure out what is missing and then allocate the time to master it.  (Use the little allocation chart in the piece Life Mastery - From Self Assessment To Commitment And The Choice Of A Path.)

There is no nobility to just "being in the question" or to being a constant seeker.  Life power exists only in clearly, and quickly, establishing the answers, and being a "finder" and not just a seeker!!!

Bon Voyage! (If you choose this path, you will live the greatest, happiest life.)
