But the truth is that we need only note the possible concern behind the negative emotion and then decide whether to deal with it or just let it pass because it will do us no good to stay in it. At that moment we either write it down for inquiry/processing (possibly using the ABCDEF Rational Analysis) or we let it go, knowing that it will do us no good to be caught in the connected fear response. It is interesting how the negativity/fear is not felt when one is in the process of looking at it and inquiring around it, and, then, solving it!!!
The rule is: Never let a negative thought, and its caused emotion, continue. Switch to a positive thought (have some on hand in your Re-mind-ers Notebook - you MUST have a ready supply of 5 to 10 sentences figured out ahead of time or you’re stuck with knowing a concept but not being able to implement it.
