Realize these two things and your life will soar!

(In email, click on the post title in order to read the entire post.)
Once you realize that the body and the mind are all mechanical (they are machines!), then it is more likely that you will “get” that there is No Fault - and then your life will take off to higher levels than were ever possible the old way!!!

(If you don't quite buy into the mechanical part reread the piece on that via the link above, as it is essential knowing.  If you don't operate at the level of never criticizing, faulting, or blaming yourself, restudy the latter link above, as this is also essential knowing for being able to run one's life effectively and it is a required item for happiness, for if you violate it, you cannot be happy,)

WOULD YOU DO THIS TO A MACHINE?

Would you jump up and down and criticize a machine sitting on the factory floor for making a mistake?  Would you fault it?

Or would you simply say “it didn’t do what I wanted, so now what do I need to do to fix what went wrong, so that it is programmed to do what I want?”  You would simply look forward, and use the information of the mistake/misperformance to create a better future by correcting what didn’t work.
(What is having that conversation is the "I" that I really am.  Note that the part of us that is closer to the animal level, the lower brain, is not capable of having this conversation - and that is the one thing that elevates us to being beyond "just a machine".)

Would you accuse the machine of “not being enough”?  Would you call it naughty or “bad”?

Or would you be neutral and objective about it and simply do what is necessary to get a better result/product from it?

"I am a machine.  When I don’t do what gives me a good result, I simply do not yet know enough to have programmed the steps that will lead me to the good result.  I never criticize myself - that just doesn’t work - and it also throws my machine into fear, because it will believe then that I am bad, flawed and therefore not able to survive well.  And when I am caught up in fear, it takes up much of my operational capacity so that it is no longer available for going out and getting what I want!".

THE REAL PURPOSE OF LIFE

The purpose of life is to have a great experience of it, which is composed of having lots of good feelings from various sources, but mostly from things that make us happiest for the long term - ongoing, deep, nonconditional.  The required four ingredients for this are specified in The Road To Enduring Happiness.

Our purpose is not to be flawless or “good enough”.  It is to be happy.  There is no valid criticism and fault, there is only looking and seeking what to do that will actually work to create what we want. That is why some people become champions in various things AND a champion in life, hopefully.  They simply note what didn’t work and don’t spend time saying “woe is me, I am hopeless or flawed or should have known better." They simply didn’t know “yet”, so they fix the lack of sufficient knowing and set up the system (beliefs, habits, practices, procedures, etc.) that will work.

Those who do the macro steps 1) look, 2) see, 3) fix, and 4) implement (practice) most frequently will leave far behind those who do it less often and/or don’t do all the steps (especially the implementation one - but also if one doesn’t learn enough to figure out what is better to do, then one cannot implement well!).

Those who become champions have learned, and practiced, to never spend time looking at nonsolution, or the opposite of solution,(repeating the fear/problem over and over in one’s head or mouth) and spend it only on looking toward solution and “manifestation” (= getting results from doing all the steps in whatever systems are in working order, thanks to our having fixed them).

RIGOROUS PROCESSING?

This may sound silly or extreme, but I think it is best to do this process rigorously and often.

You would, then, write down (not be so foolish as to think it can be clear in mind or kept in mind well) what is the problem and then go through the process of fixing the steps in the system (and never, ever foolishly criticizing the machine!).  An example of what might be used by a very high level fast improving person would be something like The Life Improvement Journal (and the process specified in it).

You MUST follow these instructions for your practices in life:

1.  Note what is not working and specify “the problem”.

2.  From that determine what you do want, asap drop all focus on the "problem", and spend ALL of the rest of our time, energy, and attention to solving it and experiencing the results of having it fixed.

This means you never entertain (but only note) a negative thought.  NEVER! EVER! EVER!
(But you also never, ever, ever add a negative by criticizing yourself for falling short of what is best, as you are a limitless machine, not some miracle worker.)

You MUST first follow these instructions to the maximum, and not just go looking for another thing that must be the secret, where you can leap forward all at once and arrive, without doing "the work", at herohood!!!!

Humans all have one purpose in life, thanks to our having evolved so far that we are no longer just survival machines but have a machine (the higher brain) that creates meaning and value as a product.

The purpose of our lives is to be happy.  To do that we create the best experiences and/or tap into them, our job is to experience life such that we are most happy.

We are a machine with the job of producing that product (happy experiencing).  When it doesn't do that in the moment, it does no good to beat it up.  We just need to fix the problem that caused the undesired result and not "pile on" a bunch of derisions about our not being smart enough, able enough, or (in the ultimately vague) "not good enough".

Once we eliminate the wasted time and attention to the negatives, we are free to create lots more good stuff in life.  If we, instead, keep on speaking and thinking about the crap, we, again, are caught up in the crap (that we made up) of life - not a good idea!!!.

________________________________

The human machine has grown to be a relative miracle, yet we persist in complaining that it cannot do everything perfectly (which would be impossible, given the time we have to learn to be such).

It is marvelous and it is sufficient for us to get all the important things we want in life.

Those who keep complaining about themselves and/or how not perfect we are are simply in a very foolish conversation, so far from seeing the great reality that they need to have cranialrectal surgery in order to see life clearly.  (The surgery is actually on the bad programming of believing we are not safe and can't be happy if we are not perfect and not free of all negative things happening in life.)

The machine (us) is not what needs to be fixed for it is the greatest machine existing in the universe, far greater than animals.

What needs to be fixed is the programming, which evolution has not had time to fix to adjust to our modern world and/or which was "poured into" our brain from various influences in our lives.

We are not flawed, but "it" is - the programming.  Therefore, we focus on fixing the programming and then enjoying the fruits of our labor derived from fixing it!!!!

Indee, we are whole and complete.  (And if you don't know that, reread that link!)
