Before criticizing the world, set your house in perfect order.
Jordan Peterson: Rule 6 from my book, 12 Rules for Life: "Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world."
We position ourselves in againstness, as if our opinion actually mattered to the world. But againstness is strictly a lower way of being/thinking. It seldom gets you anything good, and you. Are unhappy while doing it.
It is best to build yourself so that you can have a much better life and be far happier.
And, along the way, you’ll be so much more powerful in affecting the world than you were before.
[And note how much more powerful one is when one spends energy only on what one can control, instead of trying to control the uncontrollable and/or that which one has no power over: Control - Use It Powerfully For The Greatest Effect - Don’t Waste It!]
