When one is agitated and "down" - what to do physically, especially sleep...

When one is agitated and "down", one should stop exacerbating (making worse) the condition by losing sleep and going into more of an unstable, weakened condition that enables the downward spiral emotionally and physically.  Whenever the body is weakened, the mind goes into an alarm state, as it is trying to get back to well-functioning homeostasis - and that alarm creates more agitation and gives the lower brain fuel for coming up with more negatives, which of course creates more of a down spiral..

Particularly, stop taking poisons and drugs (alcohol) and stop accumulating "brain waste" that deadens the brain!  

Although one may have trouble overcoming the negative thoughts themselves, one can surely do the doable physical actions that will settle down the agitation and help stop the cycle - and even start bringing it back up.

Please read these and PUT THEM INTO PRACTICE!  Please!
