Unless you are already transformed... set automatic limits that stop you from getting too hooked on social media and/or email.
Just do it, right now. It’ll take less than 5 minutes!
I just did:
__ Mail limit: 30 minutes
__ Social media (all at once): 30 minutes
__ Games (I don’t do these anymore, but if you do, this will save you from addiction...)
Use whichever works on your device:
FocusMe - All but iPad, iPhone (for now.
For iPad, iPhone: Screen time (under settings, just enter screen time in your search bar for apps)

Added simple app for people who really want to be productive: Be Focused Pro. It will tell you when to take a break, schedule your work intervals for you, and track the number of actual work intervals you accomplished during the week. (I use a work interval of 60 minutes and 5 minute breaks, but a big break for a nap in the afternoon to up productivity tremendously.)
