Massive learning progress rapidly via intense focus periods

We never seem to get around to really mastering a topic of vital importance if we attempt to do it in 20 minutes a day...

We need to have periods of intense focus, immersion, concentration on the one subject for a Intense Immersion Learning and progress in a relatively short period.

For instance, we would identify a topic, find some readings/books that would give us study material, and then set aside, say, a weekend.  Or we could decide to spend 10 hours a week on it for a month or three months.

This way we

1.  Get it done, whereas we’d unlikely complete what is necessary.

2.  Get it done and get the results quickly - which is not only empowering, in the verifiable-by-results sense, but also very inspiring.

This also works especially well when working on difficult challenges.

For instance, one might, instead of being depressed and hopeless about it, focus for a weekend, plus perhaps some 10-hour weeks, on formulating strategies and a plan for getting/changing a job.

Or on repairing a relationship (which requires reading at least three books on relationships, or some other more than surface learning).

Anything that you want to master sooner rather than later (or never).

Of course, you will always use the one hour or more daily focus on the One Thing that will make the most difference in your life or business or whatever.
