Mindvalley’s view (and essentially mine, too):
⠀
When you make your personal growth your meaning in life, everything gets better.
⠀
Your mind gets better.
⠀
Your health gets better.
⠀
Your work, your play, your relationships get better.
⠀
And by extension, you make the world a better place to be.
⠀
And when you adopt the mental frame of pursuing growth as a goal, you make the ups, more frequent and the downs more manageable.
⠀
If your business takes off, it doesn't matter. The question is, did you grow?
⠀
Success, therefore, doesn't go to your head.
⠀
If you have a failure at work, it doesn't matter. The only question is, did you grow?
⠀
Failure, from this point of view, doesn't slow you down.
⠀
Even heartbreak will provide you lessons that add to, rather than diminish your future wellbeing.
⠀
Because when you make your growth the number one thing in your life, magical things happen.
⠀
And this is the core idea behind Mindvalley's philosophy.
