People experience the bad result (emotion) and then don't do anything to fix it. Or they do a little and then stop, stopping short of eradicating ALL the bad beliefs. One cannot afford to give away even a little of their lives to the bad results one could have eliminated by correcting their beliefs.
But, how hard is this to do?
You will either need dedication to doing it, an intensive on your own or one where you get help. Leaving bad beliefs festering, to fix "later", will not do it - ignoring something that keeps thumping you is not the solution!
Do your list of the top 5 (bad") emotions you feel is the start, putting them in order. Then put underneath each a "conversation" (which is a bad belief) that causes (precedes) the bad emotion.
Don't let ANY of them slip by. Note them down immediately and put in your hopper to process them when you have the time and the alertness to do so. (Use the procedure: The Complete Step By Step Belief Reconstruction Procedure or get a guide/consultant/coach to help you.)
In reverse thinking, note that if the end result of any process is that one does not feel good, it means that the person has not done the above (corrected the belief steps in the process). It is simple cause and effect.
Clean up bad beliefs until you life is clear of the effects of bad beliefs!

Without doing this, there is no progress and there is only staying in place...at a far lower position than is entirely reachable!!
Whatever level you are at is, except in rare situations, much lower than the level you could be at. Each day should have NO suffering, for suffering is only an emotion designed for extreme conditions, to get you into gear to do whatever it takes to survive the super hardship. Surely your life is not at that level, in total famine and threatened....
