Are you going through life thoughtlessly ...and missing the point of living...?

(If received by email, click on the title of the post to see the entire post.)

If you took a trip and didn't know where you were going or why, it wouldn't make much sense to do so.  It would be "unsmart"!

Yet that is what we tend to do in life. I would suggest that it is hugely worthwhile to decide what your life is about.  Surely, it is something above living life randomly or "spontaneously" (with no thought and no smartness) or just trying to survive life's slings and arrows.(!)

I would suggest that you can live a truly magnificent life, but only if you give it some thought ahead of time.  Perhaps, this piece could give you a faster start The Meaning Of Life, Life's Purpose - The Why And The Wherefore Of Life.

I thought this excerpt from it cut to the point of what to do:

"Note that, while psychology management helps, a great life is actually created through a great life philosophy - and I'd suggest that it is very, very, very well worth it to spend the time to establish a great one!  A great life philosophy is the collection of "what works" in life - it is a practical set of "beliefs", rules, principles, guidelines, "systems", and such, that make life work the best.  Built the pieces of your philosophy meticulously well for they will govern your very life - your life philosophy is the very foundation of your life!"

Enjoy the harvesting of this, as it can be one of the most significant things you do in your life!
