Career book review: Outstanding - not only on the vital decision on which career but also on productivity

Here is my review on Amazon, for the book The Career Manifesto:

I write peripherally on selecting one’s career and write extensively on life and life productivity. Yet I found this book to do a marvelously clear job in helping one select the right career and place to work, but also surprisingly how to be productive in life and in your career - both of which must thrive if one is to be happy.

Originally, I was going to compare this book for a few individuals seeking new careers with What Color Is Your Parachute?, but I do not think it is an either/or choice but a both/and. And I think I would read Career Manifesto first and do its exercises on life and career, wherein he uses very practical (doable) formats.

I very much liked the straightforward, clear, uncluttered advice related to productivity (and wished I could write as quickly and cleanly on each habit, strategy, and tool. He gives specific advice on what to do or use, though I would prefer Todoist over Microsoft To Do (use a search engine to compare the two).

I will use this as an outstanding book for all ages, along with Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits book and Loehr’s The Power Of Full Engagement, though I like the approach in my Kindle book (Life Value Productivity) where “life value” is used as the criteria for ALL of what we do.

A great, practical, highly beneficial, to the point book!
