Setting up your "filters"; for a great day!

It is quite common for people to dismiss the importance of launching one's day in a very positive way.

It may seem like more "woo-woo" or fairy dust.

But it is massively scientifically verified that our automatic filtering system in our brain can be "guided" toward letting in things that cause a more positive interpretation of what is happening (one that is more realistic, too), how one is feeling, and whether one is in a "discovery" (reward) mode or a "defensive" (fear, anxiety) mode.

THE AUTOMATIC FILTER

One of the key things you should know about your "primitive mind" is that it will automatically allocate attention to what it "thinks" is of priority (and ignore or screen out what isn't priority, including screening out some of the bad stuff).  And you can "direct" the mind as to what to look for, by directing your intentions for the day or even saying "I will pay attention to all my opportunities with regard to this...".

Even our attitude, which we will have affected from our launch, affects our filters, as observed in one of the studies by Professors Joseph Forga and Gordon Bower.  After an attitude influencing exercise, people saw other people in a more positive light (which is better for relationships) AND saw normally difficult tasks as easy.  (Of course, if a person starts off a day with anxiety, everything seems harder and everything good seems less likely.)

By launching one's day with positive intentions, statements, and such, there is an indisputable and large positive effect on one's mood ALL DAY, one's energy all day, one's effectiveness, how one sees things, one's higher brain functioning.

Don't shortchange the great effect that a great launch for the day has on your life!

Please...I beg you...please create and do a great launch to your day, everyday!

(See The Morning Ritual And Launch and copy, modify, or devise your own and install it - with two days!!!)
--------------------------

Now, I'd like you to realize not to expect a miracle from any one thing in life, though this one practice does actually have quite an effect.  What is usually the case in life is that we must do several things which influence our minds toward a particular positive direction, each with some positive effect, and then these will accumulate and meld into a marvelous, effective whole!  And your life will be literally altered forever.

So "do your homework", fill in the tabs in your Reminders Notebook (wherein you write out, copy, or otherwise fill in the content) and you'll find it all comes together toward a much stronger base for a confident, effective life.  And, read and do the exercises along the way in the briefing piece (which takes quite a while to do) called The Only Sure Path To The Greatest Life.
