Are you a "fear/anxiety fool"?

WILLING TO BE A FOOL?

Definition of "fool": A person who acts unwisely or imprudently; a silly person.

It is wise to rid oneself of falsehoods that create emotional damage.  

But many people leave many of those falsehoods in place, and then try to hobble through life with that handicap...

Does that make any sense???


WILLING TO HAVE AN "UNPLEASANT EMOTION" FOR NO GOOD PURPOSE?

Definition of "fear":  An unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.

If a fear had no useful purpose, why on earth would someone allow it to keep doing him/hereelf damage?


THIS LIFE DOMINANT UNPLEASANT EMOTION SHOULD BE CURED!

Just as a doctor might only treat the symptoms of a problem and not cure the cause, we spend much of our lives feeling bad often and then trying to "cure" the symptoms down to some low level, often with coping behaviors that exacerbate the problem.  

But the cost is enormous.  (Fear and anxiety are the biggest causes of unhappiness that there are!)

It would be best not to have the problem in the first place (or at least not let it continue), by curing the cause!


THE KISSING (SUCKING) COUSIN

The "kissing cousin" of fear is the more constant version of it, called "anxiety", where we feel bad and fearful often in a franticness about something vague, overgeneralized, and misconstrued as a possibility of a "threat".   It is a soul sucking emotion.

Note that anxiety is the very opposite of happiness.  In general terms, where all the "good stuff" is compiled under "love" and the bad stuff of life is compiled under "fear", the reality is that you get to "choose love or fear" - there is no in-between, as two things cannot be in the same space at the same time!


HOW MANY "THREATS" AND "DANGERS" ARE REAL AND OF CONSEQUENCE?

The purpose of fear is to get into action to prevent something that is very dangerous from happening. Little stuff happening is only a mild inconvenience, that is very survivable and not worth the trouble to "worry" about.  (Note that fear itself is just an emotion that causes fight/flight for a survival purpose, but it is one that is "over" after the threat is handled.  But humans add perpetuating thoughts, based on misbeliefs, that keep the emotion going far after its usefulness. 99+% of your fears and anxieties are needless, unnecessary, and falsely based.  You "think" they are real, but they are not.  That will take some convincing since the primitive mind just simple-mindedly goes along with the evolutionary flow of "I better spot every possible danger and they are all serious".  (The simple primitive mind does not think in terms of relative importance, differentiations, and distinctions.  It is, again, simple-minded.  If a person just lets it be as is, the person can be said to be being simple-minded.)

The solution lies in using the higher brain to, again, examine the fears and anxieties to determine whether or not they are valid (i.e. that the beliefs that there is a danger are valid).  


SO, LET'S START ON THE LIST AND  DO "THE PROCESS"

Rather than let the "monsters in the closet" thinking continue, you should do "the process" of identifying, listing, prioritizing, and then tackling the top 5 at least.  The result is that you can relatively soon disappear half of the negative emotional units from your life forever! (And then you can choose to work on the others if you want.)

Please don't make the mistake that is behind all people who do not achieve the levels of success they want.  You must "go deep" (or far enough) to assure the result.

Take, for now, with optional extensions, 30 hours to list all fears/anxieties and unravel the major ones!  Just follow The Fear/Anxiety Management Program.  (Consider a learning schedule such as these:  Allocating My Time To Learning And Implementation.)

Though there are some human beings who have completed this process, there are few humans who cannot benefit from doing this program to gain the huge differences that it will make in their lives.
